Jesus said, "I
am the way, I am the truth and the life: no man come unto the Father
but by me," John 14:6.
"I know, and am persuaded by
the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him
that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean," Romans 14:14.

I am a Christian,
and also gay. Organized religion has sent so many judgmental and
hateful messages to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people that
some believe they cannot be saved and go to heaven. The good news
is you can be gay and go to heaven, and by reading below you will learn
how!
JESUS: The Fulfillment
of God's Promise:
Jesus is the fulfillment of God's
promise to man for the curse of sin. Undoubtedly, the most beautiful
words written in Scripture are: "For God so loved the world, that
he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life," John 3:16. You are "whosoever,"
and through the grace of our Saviour, Christ, are God's chosen. For
Jesus said, "All things are delivered unto me of my Father; and no man
knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save
the son, and he to whosoever the Son will reveal him," Matthew 11:27.
No matter who you are, no matter what you have done, no matter how damaged
you feel, Jesus wants nothing more than to reveal you to his Father in
heaven. Jesus did not come to condemn you, but to save you.
You are worthy to Jesus, and he loves you. "For God sent not his
Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved," John 3:17. "For the Son of man is come to
seek and to save that which was lost," Luke 19:10.
Jesus Is Our Exclusive
Saviour:
You must know, love and believe
in the exclusiveness of Christ to receive God's blessing and mercy, which is forgivness
of sin and salvation. Jesus said, "I am the way, I am the truth
and the life: no man come unto the father but by me," John 14:6; and,
"If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered;
and men gather them and cast them into the fire, and they are burned,"
John 15:6. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none
other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved,” Acts
4:12. "He that believeth on Jesus is not condemned: but he
that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in
the name of the only begotten Son of God," John 3:18.
Jesus does not want anyone to be
condemned. Jesus loves you so much that he suffered and died on the
cross that you might have everlasting life, and he wants nothing more than
to give you his blessing. He is your Saviour, and God sent him into
the world so, that through him, you can be set right before the eyes of
God. Jesus is God's only mercy unto the world, and in Jesus all
things are forgiven.
Salvation: How To
Receive Jesus' Blessing
Salvation, and eternal life in heaven,
is a gift, to all, from God. "For the wages of sin is death; but
the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord," Romans
6:23. We are saved by grace, alone, through the exclusiveness
of Christ. Jesus said, "He who believeth and is baptized shall
be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned," Mark 16:16.
It is simple to receive Christ's
blessing. Scripture tells us, "If thou shalt confess with thy
mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised
him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth
unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation,"
Romans 10:9-10.
Think, for a moment, about the wonderful
blessing of Christ, and then look into your heart. Do you believe?
Do you want Jesus to come into your life, and to receive his blessing?
If the answer is yes, pray:
In Jesus' name I pray: Dear
God, I know I am a sinner. Thank you for sending your Son
into the world to take away my sin. I have looked into my heart and believe
that Jesus is your only begotten Son, who died so that I may live, forever,
in heaven with you. My heart believes you raised Jesus from the dead,
and that the risen Christ is my divine and exclusive Saviour. I repent,
and ask that Jesus now come into my life to take away my sin, and
be my personal Saviour and Lord, forever. Amen.
Walking With Jesus After
Salvation:
Once saved, Jesus will not
abandon you. He will comfort and guide you. For Jesus said,
"Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in
heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls," Matthew 11:29; and,
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also
in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not
so, I would have told you. I go and prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive
you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also," John 14:1-3.
After Salvation Justification
Is Through Faith, Not By Law: The
law of the Old Testament, and judgment for transgressions of the law, was
delievered to Moses by God, and it is good, just and Holy. The law
was given by God after mankind ate of the tree of knowledge of good and
evil. After sin was introduced by Adam and Eve, and they knew the
difference between good and evil, God gave mankind the law that we might
know what is good and Holy in the sight of God, and that we might choose
to follow the law and be righteous before God. Make no mistake about
it, the law is still in effect today, for Jesus said, "Think not that
I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy,
but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth
pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all
be fulfilled," Matthew 5:17-18. In the end, when the book of
life is opened, and the secrets of all are made open, God will judge all
mankind by the law.
God's only mercy is Jesus.
Through Jesus all our sin is forgiven, and taken away. In the end,
all that believe in Jesus, through faith, will be guiltless before the
law, and this includes gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. "For
by grace ye are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: not of works, least any man should boast,"
Ephesians 2:8-9.
One wide spread problem within organized
religion has always been the temptation to get into the law of the Old
Testament, and judge or condemn others by it. Jesus said, "Judge
not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall
be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall me measured to
you again," Matthew 7:1-2. Christians should not judge themselves,
or others, by the law; and those who do really should consider: "Who
are thou that judgest another man's servant? To his own master he
standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is
able to make him stand," Romans 14:4. Jesus will cause all
who believe on him to stand without regard to the law, for he alone takes
away our sin, making us guiltless before the law. Jesus paid
our debt for sin under the law. "Do not frustrate the grace of
God; for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain,"
Galatians 2:21.
As Christians our walk must be in
faith in Jesus, and not in the law. When we teach, practice or judge
according to the law we bring Jesus down from the cross, and are saying
to God: "We don't have complete faith in salvation through grace,
and this is a very dangerous thing to say to God! "Christ is become
of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are
fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of
righteousness by faith," Galatians 5:4-5. "Therefore by the
deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:
for by the law is the knowledge of sin," Romans 3:20. "For all have
sinned, and come short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23. "But that
no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident:
for, the just shall live by faith," Galatians 3:11 "Therefore we
conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law,"
Romans 3:28. Scripture tells us, in faith all is clean in the
Lord: "I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there
is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing
to be unclean, to him it is unclean," Romans 14:14.
The message is simple: After
salvation, keep your heart on Jesus and walk in faith. Keep your
eye and heart on the Good News of the New Testament. Do not judge
yourself or your brother. Do not condemn anyone with the law, including
yourself. "For as many as are under the works of the law are under
the curse: for it is written, Cursed is everyone the continueth not
in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them," Galatians
3:10. In faith, with Jesus, there is eternal life. In the
Old Testament, in the law, there is knowledge of sin and death, to all
who practice and believe on it. Believe on Jesus!
"Hast thou faith? have it to
thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that
thing which he alloweth. And he that doubeth is damned if he eat,
because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin,"
Romans 14:22-23.
Learning More About Jesus:
After you are saved,
your spirit will hunger for more knowledge of divine, Holy and heavenly
things. The truth is available to all. It is in Scripture,
which is the Holy word of God, and has been preserved by God so that we
may all know the truth. A good place to start is the book of John.
Learn through Scripture with divine
interpretation by the Holy Ghost. Men can open your eyes to Jesus,
but, once they are open, do not be lazy and depend on others to tell you
who Jesus is because Satan will use them to mislead you. No man has
greater authority than Scripture. Come to know it first hand, and
measure all you hear against it. Do not allow Satan, though
his prophets, ministers and teachers to deceive you because they are very
much alive in the world today.
Ask Jesus to send to you the Spirit
of truth, and your eyes will be opened to the true meaning of Scripture.
It is through the Spirit that God reveals the deep and true meanings of
His living word to us. The Spirit of truth is the Holy Ghost.
You can ask Jesus, and you will receive it, for Jesus said, "If ye shall
ask anything in my name, I will do it," John 14:14. Jesus promised
us after he had risen that he would send us a Comforter, even the Spirit
of truth, "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another
Comforter, that he may abide with you forever: even the Spirit of truth...,"
John 14:16-17; and, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the
Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all
things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you, John 14:26.
Always ask to receive the
Spirit of truth before reading Scripture. To do this examine your
heart, to be certain you sincerely want it, have faith that if you ask
in Jesus' name you will receive it, and then pray:
In Jesus name I pray: Dear
Father, I am preparing to read Your Holy word. I pray that You open
my eyes and send the Spirit of truth to reveal all the deep and hidden
meanings of Your living word, for without Your Spirit I will not fully
understand. I give highest thanks, praise and glory to Your Almighty
and Holy name, today and forever. Amen.
In closure, depend on the Spirit
of God to teach you, and not men. Remember the words of the Apostle,
Paul: "According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as
a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth
thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon,"
I Corinthians 3:10.
