I have set up the links page as a hospitality center.  I receive many questions from visitors about the location of our gay district, and what it has to offer.  I also receive requests for general information about attractions in Chicago.  It's all here, folks.  By exploring these links you can learn how to naviagte your way around the city on our transit system, search for restruants, get information about Chicago landmarks, obtain maps of both down town and the gay district, learn the location of all our gay bars (with basic information provided about what each has to offer).  You can also learn about where our museums are located, find out what special events are planned, obtain information about where our theatres are located, and what is playing.  With the addition of the Chicago Area Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, you can even shop by category over 500 gay owned or friendly businesses. Gay and Lesbian Visitor's Center - New!  We're proud to announce the opening of our new Gay and Lesbian Visitor's Center, located at 3713 N. Halsted.  The Visitor's Center is open from 11 am to 6 pm weekdays, and from 11 am to 3 pm on Saturdays.  Drop by to pick up your Visitor's Companion, copies of GLBT papers, and other great information.  The Center is on Halsted Street, about 2 blocks north of Addison Street, right in the heart of Lakeview's GLBT bar, restaurant, and retail district.

Chicago Area Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce - Wonderful site!  Provides a wealth of information about LesBiGay owned/friendly businesses --from where to eat to where to shop.

Chicago Free Press - Lesbigay publication comprehensive GLBT newsweekly offering local, national and international news and political coverage.

Gay Chicago Magazine - Lesbigay publications with calendar of events, news, columnists, food reviews, and more.  This weekly publication focuses heavily on entertainment.

Gerber/Hart Gay and Lesbian Library and Archives - Has more than 10,000 books, magazines, newspapers and videos, making it the largest such facility in the midwest. They have special events throughout the year, including video nights.

Night Life - Information about Chicago's bars, as provided by Windy City Times.
