Love's
Spell
I
summon you,
Aeolus,
keeper of winds,
and
your full court,
from
the north, south, east and west:
Boreas,
Notus, Eurus and Zephyrus.
Come
swiftly,
and
carry this summons to the rulers of cats,
in
heaven, hell and on earth.
To
Oceanus,
the
Great God of ALL Waters,
and
to Eros,
God
of Love.
Whisper
to Poseidon,
brother
of Zeus and God of Sea,
and
ask that he send his son,
Triton,
to
carry this summons to Acheron,
far
Below the depths of the sea.
My
Muse,
Erato,
Goddess
of lyric and love poetry,
and
I,
impatiently
await your arrival,
COME!
I
shall get my cape and crown,
and
together we shall bring a beautiful cat,
of
water and air,
to
his knees,
before
my throne,
of
darkness and romance,
so
I may rule over and love,
this
beautiful Adonis, Christopher,
eternal
and true.
Together
we shall weave a spell,
of
faith, longing, loyalty, love and desire,
and
cast it out upon him with my scepter,
to
be carried by Eros' arrow,
through
water and air,
with
the divine approval of the rulers of cats.
Once
delivered,
Acheron,
Ruler
of woe,
from
Rivers of Underworld,
shall
inflict upon him longing,
unmet,
until
he submits before my throne,
eternal
service and devotion,
knowing,
peace
rests only within the sovereign.
Once
cast,
no
magic,
performed
by witch,
muse,
ruler, priest or fairy,
mortal,
or
immortal,
can
break this spell.
Deliverance
rests only within this sovereign,
and
even the sovereign's death shall not bring freedom,
without
first the sovereign's blessing.
In
the name of Hera,
Queen
of Heaven,
and
Zeus,
CHIEF
OF GODS,
it
shall come to pass,
for
they told me so,
through
their messenger,
Iris,
in
a dream.
Our
union already bless by my mistresses,
Selene,
Goddess
of moon,
Nix,
Great
Goddess of Night,
and
Erato,
My
Muse.
I
say to you,
time
tells the story of these Immortals and GODS,
herein
named,
and
truly,
for
centuries,
as
great poets have,
written
of them,
actors
portrayed them,
painters
rendered their images,
on
canvas, paper, plaster and stone,
and
statutes erected
ALL
in their honor,
so
shall this spell be unbroken,
and
true.
